Professor Rekha Dar is a Fashion Business Educator and has been a practitioner in the Apparel Industry for more than 21 yrs. Country Head, Gap, Sri Lanka, & Head of Sourcing, Benetton. Master's in Arts and a Bachelor's in Education, PGCHE from Nottingham Trent University UK.

Areas of expertise are: Domestic & Global Sourcing, Costing & Supply Chain management especially CSR & Ethical business initiatives in the Indian Apparel Industry. Involved in UKERI projects in partnership with London College of Fashion "Mapping Employer engagement in Fast Fashion” and “Global Fashion Skills Collaborative Networks: Up skilling for Future Business Growth.” She is part of FE initiatives of the Pearl Academy to train executives in the Indian apparel industry.
